SiFi

I recently forgot my password, but after a few tries I got it. I have been watching a lot of science fiction latley. I watched the first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica, along with its acompanied movie Razor. Then I watched the first and only season of Firefly and the movie Serenity. I am real sad that there is nothing else to watch, but I am looking foward to the end of March when the third season of Battlestar Galactica will come out.
I can't say if I like one over the other, but as of now Firefly is in the lead. I was a little bit nervous about the whole western edge to it, but it didn't bother me. Battlestar Galactica has more hot boys in it, but one good looker is enough for me. I think Firefly has more humor to it. I am scared to get into any details because I don't know much about science fiction, but these were two fun shows.
I realize this post will make everyone aware that I am a geek. But I realized that when I was still wearing spandex to school and all the other kids had slipped into denim.

I have heard over and over again that Battlestar Galactica is a great show and that I should give it a shot. I just have not because I fear the science fiction genre. I just might now, though, we'll see.

I think Science Fiction and/or Fantasy is nothing to be ashamed or afraid of. Here is a list of things I love:

1. Lord of the Rings
2. Star Wars
3. X-Men
4. Final Fantasy Video Games
5. Science Fiction
6. The Star Trek movie where they retrieve Hump Back Whales from the past
7. Lord of the Rings:Risk Trilogy Edition

As you can see, all of those fit within the realm Science Fiction/Fantasy. Not to mention the first 16 and 1/2 years of my literary life was dedicated to reading science fiction/fantasy books. So Dawn, I think you should feel great about everything you have talked about here. My personal respect for you skyrocketed. I think you're really going places.

I'm thrilled you were able to recover your password, Dawn.

As Craig said, science fiction is nothing to be ashamed of, unless it's bad science fiction, which there is a lot of. I've heard nothing but good things about Firefly, so maybe I'll have to give it a shot. People go crazy for that show.
